We live in a very unique area, which makes our task of promoting the Bluegrass Region a joy. We also enjoy the opportunity to work with some of the most dedicated and talented tourism and hospitality sales professionals in the country. Our goal as an association is to provide valuable resources to our members throughout the year.

If you are a current member I hope to see you at our next meeting. If you are a potential member I welcome you to our association and look forward to meeting you!

Our Board of Directors continues to create valuable educational and networking sessions for our monthly membership meetings. Please join us at an upcoming luncheon to learn more about BTMA and how membership will benefit you and your tourism and hospitality organization or business! I guarantee you'll take away some great information and make new contacts from the hospitality industry that will be invaluable to you.

Best Regards,

Our Speaker, Hank Phillips, is President and CEO of the Kentucky Travel Industry Association.   Tourism is one of our state's most important and productive sources of economic vitality, jobs and tax revenue. The Kentucky travel industry, the source of those benefits, is as diverse and dynamic as the experiences it delivers to Kentucky visitors. Since 1980, KTIA has provided the industry with a unified voice, business development opportunities, education programs, and timely information.
Hank Phillips served for five years as the Deputy Commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Travel and Tourism, where he worked to promote the state as a travel destination regionally, nationally and internationally. Previously, he served in several roles with the National Tour Association, including the association’s president. Hank has also served as the Senior Vice President of AMR Management Services, a Lexington based association management firm.  Spare time includes photography and some very bad painting.  He's also a sports (spectator only!) and political junkie.
